Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stickypic?
Sticypic are self-adhesive decals. Use them instead of wallpaper, paint or stencils to quickly transform the look of your living or office space. They are designed to fit neatly onto the rectangle of your door, and off course you can get creative and find other places for your Sticypic to bloom. When you’re ready to move onto a different design or a different space – the decals are removable.
What is my Stickypic made from?
Commercial grade self-adhesive vinyl film and a pinch of love.
Can I re-position my Stickypic?
Our designs can be removed easily but they are not re-useable due to the nature of the vinyl.
How long will my Stickypic last?
If you take care of your Stickypic, it will last for years! Indoors, Stickypics will last 3 to 5 years easily. Do try to keep your Stickypic design away from direct sunlight as heat can release the adhesive and can cause the decals to peel up. Outdoors, Stickypic graphics will last 2 to 3 years.
Is Stickypic easy to remove?
If you are removing it from a wall just peel up an edge with your fingernail and slowly peel the decal off. If it’s on glass use a hairdryer on low heat to warm up the decal. This releases the adhesive and makes it easier to remove.
Where can I apply my Stickypic?
You can put them on any smooth flat surface like walls, mirrors and off course doors. They are also waterproof so you can use them indoors or outside. They look great in the bathroom and stick well to shower screens.
Can I use my Stickypic on wallpaper or a rough surface?
Unfortunately not, Stickypics are not made to go on wall paper due to the fact that the transfer film would adhere to the paper and potentially damage on removal. Not good! You can use them on slightly textured surfaces (orange peel texture) and for best results, especially the more intricate ones: once you've smoothed the graphics and transfer tape on your wall, leave both of them for at least an hour before removing the transfer tape. Every 10-15 minutes, firmly smooth the graphics and tape onto your wall - grab a towel and give them a good rub down. This will ensure the decals have a firm grip in any nooks and crannies. The adhesive bond of the graphics to your wall will increase making it easier to remove the transfer tape. Easy!

As our products are made to order we cannot really offer a refund for items ordered in error. You can request a colour sample or contact us if you would like to clarify anything before purchasing. However if the Stickypic is damaged when delivered please return it in the packaging in the state it was received and we will send a replacement.
How can I be sure my colour will match?
If you are unsure about colours please contact us at info@stickypic.com.au
I’ve just painted my wall can I use this?
Yes, but we advise that you leave the walls for a couple of weeks before trying to apply your Stickypic, this is to allow the paint to fully dry and harden.
Will my Stickypic adhere to all paint types?
Stickypic sticks very well to matte or satin paint. More intricate patterns may not stick to semi or high gloss paints.
I just placed an order online? How long before I receive it?
In most cases, we make your Stickypic with love and care upon receipt of your order. It can take between 10 –14 business days ( business days do not include weekends or holidays) to process your order and then it is shipped via Australia Post.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a freshly plastered then painted your wall please use caution as on some walls, paint can be damaged when removing the transfer film due to the paint not adhering to the plastered surface.
